<div class="inner" id="msg_4814">Right now, alliances aren't really worth much. Sure, they say that somebody's got your back in case you get attacked, but nobody actually has to come to your defense. That's where my suggestion comes in.<br /><br />I propose that, if any member of an alliance is attacked, all members of that alliance go to war with the attacked. The other members have the option of opting out, but at the cost of losing significant amounts of foreign investment and relations with either the USA or USSR, along with a significant drop in popularity. <br /><br />Thoughts?<br /></div>

<div class="inner" id="msg_5346">This part of the game works well as is, if your alliance won't protect you from raids you either did something to deserve being raided E.g. be a scrub with a shit military or your alliance is shit. <br /><br />Also raiding is part of the game, if someone raids successfully and the raided alliance is too cowardly to protect their members there's nothing wrong with that and maybe the raided player would be wise enough to leave for another alliance. </div>

<div class="inner" id="msg_5576">It's not a problem with the members of the alliance. It's a problem with the way alliances work. If you are attacked, only one country from your alliance can defend you by double-fronting the attacker. I'm saying it should be possible for multiple members of an alliance to attack an aggressor to defend one of their own.</div>
